Privacy notice

Last updated 24 September 2026

This notice explains how Ajax Dental, the Irish distributor of Ajax dental treatment units, uses personal data collected through this website, our website chat and our phone line. You can contact us by email at info@ajaxdental.ie or by phone on 01 964 0955.

What we collect

When you send an enquiry, chat with our website assistant or call us, we collect the details you choose to give us: your name, your practice, your email address and phone number, and what you are asking about (for example the model, colourway or timeline you are considering). Chat and call conversations are recorded as a transcript so we can follow up accurately. We also receive the technical information any web server logs, such as your IP address, for security and to prevent abuse.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

We use your details to reply to your enquiry, prepare a quotation, arrange a demonstration and provide service and support. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries. We do not use your details for marketing unless you ask us to, and we never sell them.

Who we share it with

Your details are handled by our email and website hosting provider, and — if you use the website chat or call us — by the service provider that runs our virtual assistant, acting on our instructions. If you go ahead with a purchase we may share the necessary order details with the manufacturer, Guangzhou Ajax Medical Equipment, to supply and support your equipment.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry records for up to 24 months after our last contact, unless you become a customer, in which case we keep what is needed for the life of the equipment and our legal and warranty obligations.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to our use of it, or ask us to restrict it. Contact us by email at info@ajaxdental.ie or by phone on 01 964 0955. You also have the right to complain to the Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie).
